A recent fire at a natural gas plant in Russia will push planned shipments of helium from this year into 2023, putting more pressure on a helium production and supply chain already under stress thanks to the ongoing shutdown of BLM, one of the main sources of helium in the United States. Despite this global tightening, US Gas’ helium supply will not be impacted.
